Actomatt (ACS-450)
ACS - 450 is wax free, reactive gloss reducing agent. It is used as matting agent mainly to formulate Epoxy - Polyester ( Hybrid ), based powder coatings with matt or semi-matt gloss finishes with excellent flow and surface smoothness with very good mechanical properties. It provide the lowest gloss from 5 to 15%. The special properties of it is excellent heat stability durring curing in gas fire oven. So it is highly recommended in light and white colour powder coating. Even in heat sensitive colour, it impove the difect of colour change in oven.

Applications |

• Coating with gloss levels ranging from 5% to 15% at 60 Deg or greater may be easily formulated by the use of ACS-450. |

• Coating produced with ACS-450 are characterised by good flow and surface smoothness. |
|
• With excellent mechanical properties and outstanding gloss stability. |
|
• The gloss depend on the polyester type used in formulation of powder coating. |
|
• The best resuits can be achived by using Polyester Resin having Acid value 75 to 80. |
|
• Minimum cure schedule recommended is 15 min @180 Deg C or 10 min @200 Deg C (object temp) |

Shelf Life / Storage |
|
• Store at 25-30 deg C at RH - 60 % or cool and dry place to avoid moisture absorption. |

• Keep bag closed after use and keep away from fire. |

• Based on our experience the shelf life of this product is at Least one year when stored under dry and cool conditions. |
